Languages for Junior Certificate Students

Language tuition is available to Junior Certificate Students in the following subjects:

• French
• Spanish

The Kildare Language Institute recognises that languages often appear very difficult especially when you are under the pressure of the Junior or Leaving Certificate. When we say we are ‘the easy way to learn’, we mean it! We want you to excel at KLI – that is why we promise to keep pupil numbers in each class low. We believe in an interactive environment where students can ask questions and engage fully with the subject area. We monitor each student’s progress to ensure that he/she is achieving his/her maximum potential.

Registration: Thursday 19th January, 2012, 6.30pm – 8.30pm in St. Mary’s Boys’ National School, Maynooth, or Pay Online

Term 2: 13 weeks – starts week beginning 23rd January, 2012.

Class duration: 1 hour 30 minutes per week.

Class Size: Average class size: 10 – 12 students per class. Maximum: 15 students per class.

Course Content: All core areas are covered – writing, reading and listening/aural. Students will receive superior quality notes as well as detailed instruction on exam technique to enhance their exam performance.

Ensuring Quality: All our teachers are highly qualified second-level teachers with years of experience teaching his/her subject area. Moreover, each teacher has a proven record of achieving excellent grades for his/her students in the State Exams.

Ensuring Progress: Each student is assessed weekly by way of a 5-minute written exam in order to ensure that he/she is making significant progress on a weekly basis.
