Summer Camps at the Kildare Language Institute
The Kildare Language Institute offers the following Summer Camp Language Programmes:
KLI – The School
The Kildare Language Institute (KLI) is renowned for its academic excellence in the teaching and learning of languages. All our teachers are highly qualified, university graduates with years of experience teaching languages. As well as providing you with the highest standards of teaching, we remain committed to ensuring that each student studies in a friendly, caring and supportive environment.
All classes are held through the target language. Although this may seem daunting at first, it is internationally recognised as the best way to maximise student fluency in their chosen language.
Furthermore, our summer camps facilitate student learning in a fun and engaging way. We believe in an interactive environment where students can feel free to ask questions and engage fully with the language.
We monitor each student’s progress to ensure that he/she achieves his/her maximum potential.
General Course Content:
Each course is specifically structured with clear aims and objectives to ensure that each student makes significant progress on a daily basis. While all core areas are covered – including Reading, Writing, Listening, Vocabulary, Grammar, and Pronunciation, significant emphasis is placed at all times on speaking the language and being able to perfect everyday usage from being able to introduce yourself and your family to asking for directions and ordering food. This is all achieved in a fun and interactive way where pupils are encouraged to ask questions and participate fully.
All second-level students are taught the target language with significant consideration given to the Junior and Leaving Certificate Syllabi. Students preparing for the Leaving Certificate do intensive preparation for their oral exam. All grammar is taught through English.
Furthermore, students attending classes at the Kildare Language Institute also receive superior quality copyright notes. Various teaching techniques and stimuli are used to further enhance learning.

All courses take place Monday to Friday 9.30am to 12.30pm (15 hours per week).
Class Size: The number of students per class is limited to ensure greater interaction and enhanced learning. Average class size is 12 students with a maximum of 15 students in each class.

Ensuring Quality: The teaching staff is comprised of highly qualified Irish Primary & Second Level Teachers, university graduates, as well as native speakers with years of experience teaching his/her language. Moreover, at Junior and Leaving Certificate levels, each teacher has a proven record of achieving excellent grades for his/her students in the State Exams. All our staff are friendly and approachable and enjoy an excellent rapport with students. Furthermore, students attending classes at the Kildare Language Institute also receive superior quality copyright notes. Our teaching approach is 100% student centred.
Ensuring Progress: Each student is assessed weekly by way of short written and/or oral exam in order to ensure that he/she makes significant progress on a weekly basis. Student progress, test results and attendance are all available on our Online Student System.
Online Student System: All registered Kildare Language Institute students are given a secure password to check out their attendance, exam results, teacher comments, Institute calendar and lots lots more online. www.kli.ie/student

Certificate: Upon successful completion of a course each student receives an official certificate certified by the Kildare Language Institute. In addition, each student also receives a detailed Progress Report. Certificates of Attendance are also available upon request.
